Who we are
We are Sasol ’s enterprise development vehicle. Our people are a bunch of passionate scientists and business analysts who support entrepreneurs (or budding entrepreneurs) with all facets of business development, helping take their business ideas to market.
Why we exist
We believe that entrepreneurship is a key vehicle to drive economic and social change. In many countries, most employment is provided through small and medium businesses. This reduces poverty. Sasol likes this idea. We take our corporate citizenship role seriously and want to impact our communities and society. We have aligned with national priorities (like the Industrial Policy Action Plan; the National Growth Plan; broad-based BEE; and Millennium Development Goals) to ensure maximum and aligned impact. Through Sasol ChemCity, we share our business development skills and deliver sustainable SMEs, which, in turn, contribute to the creation of thousands of jobs.
What we do

We also provide business implementation and post implementation support for up to two years.
